How to prepare field corn video for carp fishing

Here is a video I made showing how to make field corn, maize, deer corn or whatever name you want to call it for carp fishing. This is a great cheap bait you can make at home in little time. A pressure cooker makes it even easier and quicker to make in only a short time..

2013 Due for a mirror

Every 2-3 years my lake produces a mirror. This one was from 2010 in October. They are usually smaller than the commons but a lot more exciting for me since they are so hard to come by on my local lake.

This one above was my first ever mirror out of my local lake in 2007. I will never forget this one. As the fish was getting closer to shore I saw it turn and could see the big apple slice scales on its body.

I did catch one in 2009 but the camera died and that was my largest at a 24lb 9oz. Unfortunately no photo of that one. I am about due for a mirror this year. Now I know you can't guess but for some reason it seemed every few years one surfaces so will 2013 be the year for me?

Nash Long Range Carbon Handle and Baiting Spoon Video

I just added a quick how to video for this. A lot of anglers getting into carp fishing do not have a clue about the terms and what the product is used for so I will be added some videos to explain and show how products are used and their purpose. Delkim reliability over the years

I have used a lot of tackle through the years and some I have liked and some I wished I would have never bought. I have written many product reviews as well and sometimes reflect back on certain ones. Today I have to talk about one company specifically Delkim that I have been impressed with over and over again. We all see the newest gadgets on the market and get excited but the old saying goes if it isn't broke don't fix it. I have only used Delkim's for around 5 years now. I started with the Ev Plus and then saved up for the TXI model.

There are so many great things that I am sure we have all heard about them over and over again and they are all true. From their excellent bite detection in any weather from rain, wind and snow they hold up well.

The above picture is my friends Delkims going strong for over 15 years! How many other alarms can you say will deliver that kind of performance?  With the economy the way it is I am sure most of us want to make our dollars last as long as possible and that's the reason I wanted to share this.

Even though this fish was posted before it goes to show what great indication is all about. This one fell on 3 tiny beeps of the alarm! If I didn't have my Delkim's who knows if they would have even registered with another brand name alarm.

Spod / Spomb how to video.

So after getting a new camcorder I just finished up with video number 2. The goal with my first few videos is to show some mixed and also how to videos like the one above. When I first started I had no clue what a spod was and even how to use one correctly so I decided to make some videos showing some techniques on using both the spod and spomb and how to help align yourself when baiting. There will be more videos to come as I get a chance to make them.
