I just finished up another video on how to install the Delkim Carbon Snag Bars. I finally bought a set and to be honest for the price they are well worth it. I have had some hard takes through the years where the entire pod was pulled over by a large fish. The Snag Bars help to hold your rod in place so it doesn't fly off of your rod pod when you get a hard take. If your rod would pop off of the pod there is a good chance you could damage the eye of your rod. That is one costly repair that can be easily avoided with this Delkim Accessory.
One other thing I really love to do is point my pod straight ahead and cast my rods to the left or right. When you get a small pull from the carp the rod tip will flex in the fishes direction and the resistance from the rod will want to flex back in place setting the hook on the fish. The Snag Bars in this situation will prevent again your rod from being yanked out of the pod. Hope this video helps you in showing how to install these.
